Ballenisles recently added the new estate neighborhood of Grand Palm, where a three-bedroom home with guest house runs from just under $1.2 million to just over $1.5 million.
The newest addition to the Frenchman's Reserve community is Chambord, a development of 56 coach homes. The two-bedroom-plus-den residences offer a first-floor and a second-floor model. The second-floor home has a private elevator. Preconstruction pricing was set in the mid-$400s. Residents have access to the social, tennis and golf memberships offered at Frenchman's Reserve.
Non-country club estate living is promoted by San Michele where homes in a nature preserve setting range from $600,000+ to over $2 million. The community provides residents with a fitness area, social room, swimming center, and two lighted Har-Tru tennis courts.
Families looking for more moderately priced Palm Beach Gardens real estate can find it in such communities as Catalina Lakes, a relatively new townhome community (built in 2001). The 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath residences are set amidst natural preserves. All homes include one-car garages and screened patios; many have lake views. Square footage is around 1,700 square feet (air-conditioned space). Pricing ranges from just over $220,000 to the mid- $200s. Residents pay a quarterly fee of about $390 to $425 to cover insurance on the exterior, common area and pool care, and cable TV. In addition to a community pool, Catalina Lakes has two tennis courts and a tot lot.
